Beginnings
Founded in 1982 & based in Wellington, Anderson Design Limited has over 40 years’ experience in the bespoke design & manufacture of 3D products—from exhibitions & products to trophies.
Experience
We work with individuals, corporates, & government agencies, delivering successful projects in New Zealand & abroad. Our designs include award-winning advertising concepts, custom products, & widely recognized trophies. We’ve taken many ideas from concept to production & are known for solving complex design problems.

Workshop
Anderson Design doesn’t just put pen to paper to help a client visualize a design – we build it.
Our 400sqm workshop is divided into several areas. Our largest workshop area is fitted with standard carpentry & joinery equipment & tools. The metal workshop is used for light engineering, welding & lathe work, & our EPA certified spray booth provides us with an excellent environment to be able create any paint-finish required.
Anderson Design staff have the expertise & equipment to work in timber, metal, acrylic, fiberglass – any material that our clients require.
Freight & installation options are keys parts to our service, no matter the distance.

The Design Process
The design process is an integral part of helping a client achieve a concept into a reality.
To ensure clients of the very best results, we follow a clear & proven working process – from initial concept to final delivery.
Stage One – Design Brief
Research into existing products, suitable materials & design constraints helps to refine the concept. A working brief is developed.
Stage Two – Design Development
Concept development is advanced. Materials & processes are determined & concept drawings prepared. A final design proposal is presented at a working meeting.
Stage Three – Final Design
Model / prototypes are developed while ensuring suggestions from manufacturers are incorporated.
