 The product had to have an interactive component. In this case the cable 'nods' when touched.

 Shelf Prototype
 To design a shelving system that allowed small shelves to appear anywhere on a wall without any visible fixings.
 A slotted piece of MDF fits onto a piece of aluminium extrusion with hidden fixings on the underside. Finished in lacquer to match wall colouring.

 'Zed' Credit Card launch gift
 To design and build a desktop gift for the people involved in the launch of the ANZ Bank's 'Zed' credit card.
 Machined from solid aluminium bar, given a brush finish and then screen printed. The card is held in place with adhesive.

 Keep in Touch - K.I.T
 The development of a friendly looking housing to carry a flat screen TV and communications equipment. A number of 3D models were made at the beginning of the project to ensure that the shape achieved the clients' aims. Six units were required in three locations around the country - Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
 A large bold design using magenta and silver colours the interactive monitor is hard to miss in any location. You converse with the people on the screen in the different locations via Telecom NZ's telecommunication network.

 The Roadshow
 Periodic Table
 To build an interactive periodic table that would fit in with their existing displays. The table also had to be able to be crated using the system the organisation already used.
 Push buttons activate lights within the display panel to show the elements, which answer the questions. A dismantled cellular phone is also used in conjunction with the question panel.

 To provide a number of eye catching display units for the launch of a new telecommunications network and the supporting mobile phones.
 One unit had to house a touch screen computer and marketing material, while the other displayed the actual mobile phones. The units had to be futuristic and evoke the feel of the marketing campaign.

 To encase existing camera equipment and electronics in a totally secure, vandal and weather proof unobtrusive housing. Internal access and the ability to move the entire system between locations were essential.
 The product was to be used by the New Zealand Police for catching vehicles running red lights.

 Musical Teaching Aid
 To create a range of products that interpreted the musical theory of notes and scales into a 3D form, using colour as a prompt.
 The base product uses electronic components and a sequence of rotating buttons that align and in turn play the correct note and scale. Simplified non-electronic versions were also designed, some of these including a metronome.
