Taking New Zealand to the World: 2005

New Zealand Pavilion at the World Trade Expo 2005 - Aichi, Japan. A 500sqm walk-through exhibition to showcase New Zealand.

For an event of the scale and importance of the World Trade Expo, it’s essential to make an impact — and this one certainly did that.

Our role included construction and installation of various internal display components. These included a running water display stand for Matawai, a 1.75 tonne piece of Pounamu; carved timber columns and manufacture of touch screen housings.

The scale would later be dwarfed by the 2010 Expo exhibition at Shanghai, but 500sqm is still huge!
