Westhaven Hospice Tree

Laser cut stained plywood

The hospice wanted a commemorative sculptural tree to recognise long serving staff and volunteers. We designed and constructed the tree from plywood, to be reminiscent of a 3m high flowering kowhai. The tree was sent as a flat pack to save on costs and instructions were supplied so the pieces could be put together to create a tree. Names were laser engraved on the flowers, so they could be placed anywhere on the tree.
